Riva del Garda Fierecongressi’s journey began in 1972, when the local tourist board initiated the construction of the Riva del Garda Convention Centre – destined to become a benchmark venue for conference events.
Soon after came the first version of the international trade fair for footwear and accessories, now in its 103rd edition, further confirming Trentino’s role as a key destination for global-scale events.
This marked the beginning of a new era of conferences, idea sharing and projects that helped redefine the international convention and trade fair landscape. Riva del Garda Fierecongressi (formerly Palacongressi) has since gone on to host a wide range of events, including conventions, conferences, exhibitions and trade fairs, attracting professionals from across sectors and promoting innovation, knowledge exchange and collaboration.
Working tirelessly to create an environment that promotes growth and professional interaction, it has distinguished itself from the outset thanks to the extraordinary natural beauty surrounding its venues – stunning backdrops that enhance every conference experience.
ITAS Mutua, Italy's oldest insurance company
Founded in 1821 and headquartered in Trento, ITAS Mutua is Italy's oldest insurance company and one of only two mutual insurance providers still operating in the country. It was established 200 years ago in what was then Tyrol by people who came together to protect one another from the devastation of fires and other natural disasters. To this day, solidarity and mutual support remain at the heart of its mission. Since then, it has weathered major historical, social and economic changes, growing in size and expanding across the country, while remaining true to its mutual model.
But what does it mean to be a mutual company?
A mutual insurance company is based on a cooperative pact, meaning it is owned by its policyholder-members, who actively participate in the Group’s corporate life.
